Long time no talk…

So I have been too busy to type… Hahaha not really. I have just been coming up with other things to do. Not really having great things to say. I have been trying to keep cool. The heat is getting ridiculous.

I saw Julie and Julia! I loved it! I also saw the new Harry Potter. It was good. I want to see the GI Joe movie! It is on my list.

I have been watching big brother… it is insane.

I am currently cooking granola. It just got out of the oven and is cooling. I am kind of excited about it.

We have a lot of tomatoes from the garden. That is fun. I made some salsa. It was alright. I need to work on a better recipe.

Women’s Boxing is now going to be an Olympic sport!!!! Pretty exciting! I am pumped.

I feel like my blog needs a purpose. A topic or something. Otherwise everyone is just going to realize how boring my life is. So make a suggestion. b

I love reading about your daily activities! I helps me get to know you better. It may seem boring to you but I’ve never made granola! (I did make fudge bars this week though-they were yummy!) How was the granola?

Ok… I’ll be honest. This is the first time I’ve ventured over here. BUT, I have spent the last 45 minutes reading it! I like it!

“Julie and Julia” made me want to have a purpose to my blog, too. Or start a new one with a purpose (my family is kinda the purpose of the other one!). It also made me want to try new things to cook, but a dutch oven- orange, like Julia’s, work on my marriage as I seem to “be too busy to be married” a lot lately, and many other things. For the many things that the movie made me think about, it was a great movie. I will rent it, may even buy it, and I will watch it many times again.

As for a purpose to your blog… not sure. Julie picked something that vaguely related to her life, but that she was really interested in. She wanted to improve her cooking and Julia was her inspiration. Who or what inspires you, Moe? Is there something you want to focus on improving in your life- personally OR professionally? I loved that she set a goal and a time limit to achieve that goal- 524 recipes in 365 days. That’s ambitious, but doable. She made us all interested in that journey, too.

Find a passion, a goal, or just something you’ve always wanted to do and take us on that journey with you!
